Development Manager

I have worked for ESPA since 1997 during which time I have managed a number of residential and College services. My present role is as Development Manager with a particular focus on designing and developing a diverse range of highly individualised domiciliary and outreach services across the North East.

I pride myself in a very personal and detailed approach to designing each service.  Through really getting to know the person and working with their families and other important people in their life we are able to offer real person centre and autism specific support. The feedback we get from families is consistently commended.

I am also particularly proud of developing and managing our first and highly successful transition house. This is a unique and exciting service that was originally developed specifically for some ESPA College graduates who had complex and challenging needs. Through our intense and specialist support many of them are now living in their own homes with minimal support. This model has now been replicated in North Tyneside.
