ESPA raises autism awareness

sue and gayle2This year we decided to help raise funds for the National Autistic Society during Autism Awareness Week which aims to enhance nationwide understanding about autism. There are so many reasons why autism needs to be understood by the public and local communities.

On 1st April ESPA set up a stall at The Bridges Shopping Centre, Sunderland for the day. We promoted the work we do and shared our knowledge with members of the public. Everyone was very supportive and we raised a total of £252.69.

£125.00 of this money will be donated to the National Autistic Society and £127.60 will be used to fund another information sharing event.

A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who made the day a success.
