A wonderful performance by ESPA Students

I was a privileged to be invited to watch some of our current and ex-students in a wonderful, funny and moving performance called Xenos Fall at Northern Stage in Newcastle.

This sci-fi show was written and performed by the Twisting Ducks Spectrum Theatre Company.

It tells the story of an alien, Xenos, who crash landed his space ship into an Aldi supermarket in Newcastle. He didn’t realise that he was venturing into the biggest journey of his life. The big questions were whether earthlings would accept his differences and would he find love in the frozen food aisle?

The show was beautifully performed by three of our very talented students: Oliver Eaden, Connor Anderson and Laya Hutchinson. Rory Dillon also contributed to the writing of the script and came up with the name for the alien. Keiran Harland, who played Xenos, and Daniel Snowdon who performed are also both ESPA College graduates.

The students received excellent support from Linda Ward, Julya Craven and Carly Scott.  They went above and beyond to ensure the performance was such an overwhelming success.

Thank you everyone for a lovely night.
