Garden Lodge is in Seaham, County Durham next to a lovely park and close to the beach and a range of local amenities.
The eight people who live here all have an autism spectrum disorder, learning and other disabilities.
Staff are all dedicated to supporting each person to become as independent as possible and to empower them to make decisions
about their lifestyle and the running of the house. The house is comfortable, cheerful and homely but also offers a safe and structured autism specific environment.
People enjoy a very varied and active life within the local and wider community.
Everyone has the opportunity to pursue their unique hobbies and interests in addition to enjoying the creative,
social and leisure activities available through The Croft Centre.
The home has been awarded a 3 star (Excellent) rating by the Care Quality Commission.
