Individuals can apply for sessional, part-time or full time places. The funding for placements is
generally from the Local Authority either directly or through Individual Budgets.
Before being offered a place ESPA will carry out a detailed and comprehensive assessment of the
person’s needs and interests. This information then forms the basis of a person centred plan. Levels of
support and the cost of the placement vary according to the person's actual needs.
